Job overview
Because of a maternity leave, we are looking for an assistant financial controller. In this divers role, you will support the current finance team, where you are maximally supporting the end responsible financial manager. This is very divers. Therefore, it is important that you are familiar with working in a broad function, that you are flexible and that you switch easily between tasks and responsibilities.

• Debtor and creditor administration
• Processing bank and credit cards, preparing payments (NL & US) and managing liquidity
• Preparing month & quarterly closings
• Monitoring the correctness, timeliness and completeness of the financial administration of 4 BVs
• Support with invoicing process
• Design and maintenance of financial analyzes and reports from AFAS Profit
• Provide information for budget cycle and forecasting
• Various other activities such as checking hours registration, internal invoicing, turnover tax declaration, checking work costs scheme, etc.

Your qualifications
You want to understand numbers and you bite your teeth until you can explain the developments. You are analytical, you have strong communication skills and you like to work in a solution-oriented way. You like to be in an all-round financial control position and you prefer to fulfill it in a dynamic, innovative environment. Furthermore you have:

• A completed HBO or WO study, for example in Accountancy, Finance & Control or Business Economics
• Three to four years of work experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of ERP software AFAS-Profit is an advantage

What's on offer?
For this assignment we offer two options, you can work through a freelance contract or an interim contract through Career Control. The other benefits include; 

• A salary between € 3.500, - and € 4.000, - gross based on 40 hours
• 25 paid holidays based on a full-time fulfillment
• Travel allowance of 0,19 cents/km or full coverage when traveling with public transportation
• Participation in the StiPP pension plan
