Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your task package will include:

• Review vendor invoices and employee expense reports for prior approvals and allowable expenses
• Process accounts payable vouchers with proper general ledger account coding and correct VAT treatment.
• Prepare batch payments to be entered in banking system.
• Reconcile prepaid expenses and other assets and prepare appropriate adjusting entries
• Respond to internal and external invoice inquiries and resolve outstanding items
• Reconcile AP to the G/L
• Assist with the month-end/year-end closing processes
• Assist with internal and external audits and other projects as assigned.
• Maintains office files of disbursements and general ledger journal entries

• At least a Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in roles involving Accounts Payable or similar;
• Ability to analyze accounting processes in the system and identify improvements;
• Excellent team-working and communication skills;
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building capacity;
• Be able to work autonomously in high-pressure situations and meet tight corporate deadlines;
• Good Excel skills;
• Fluent in English and Dutch. Other EU languages (FR/ES/IT/DE) a plus.

A salary is offered depending on the knowledge and experience that you bring but will be between €3300 and €3700 per month on a full-time basis. In addition, I will be happy to tell you more about the fringe benefits in a personal interview.
