Business Controller (Dutch-speaking)

In the role of Business Controller, you are a part of a team responsible for the financial and business controlling and reporting of the corporation. Your focus lies in the T&O (Turf & Ornamental) Region United Kingdom, Nordics, Australia and New Zealand including the legal entities including the Supply Chain activity at their plants.

What will you be doing:

• Analysis of month-end, quarterly and annual results, including regular business reviews for management
• Coordinate and prepare periodic forecasts, annual budget and 5-year planning
• Deliver high quality business support, financial reporting and analysis about sales, margins, profitability per product group, customer, regions and brands
• Deliver high quality business and cost control by supporting Marketing, R&D and Central departments
• Carry out balance sheet reviews and internal controls
• Drive business process improvement initiatives
• Actively participate in business, IT and finance-related projects
• Drive working capital positions to the optimal cicumstances

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Highly analytical, accurate, supportive, and flexible, with strong financial and trend analysis skills
• Business Economics / Controlling at (Post)-Bachelor’s level, Master preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in an international and profit-driven company
• Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting guidelines and internal control framework
• Excellent proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP, QAD, Hyperion/HFM, PowerBI a plus

Systems aptitude - efficiently produce reports and therefore spend time on analysis rather than creation of data

Language skills - written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.

A salary is offered depending on the knowledge and experience that you bring but will be between €4200 and €5200 per month on a full-time basis. In addition, I will be happy to tell you more about the fringe benefits in a personal interview.
