About the Company:

Integrated Systems Events (ISE) is the owner of the world’s leading professional AV and systems integration show, ISE Europe, with offices in Munich, Amsterdam and Barcelona.  ISE is a joint venture of AVIXA and CEDIA, two global trade association for companies in the audio-visual industry.  In addition to ISE Europe, which is held annually in Barcelona, ISE operates other conferences in Europe, including Digital Signage Europe and other summits typically held in concert with ISE Europe.

Summary of Position:

For our office in Amsterdam, Netherlands, we are looking for a Finance Director (m/f/d) as soon as possible. In your leadership role of finance, you are part of the senior leadership team of Integrated Systems Events (ISE) and report to the Managing Director of ISE and the CFO of the shareholder AVIXA. This position is responsible for the management and evolution of ISE’s finance management and is in charge for developing and implementing policies and procedures that evolve and continuously improve the finance function.

Major Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for finance & controlling for the entire business, including all of its current European locations in Munich, Amsterdam and Barcelona
• Strategic further development of the finance area in close coordination with the Managing Director
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to the relevant local regulations including consolidation of all European companies and US GAAP as well as regular reporting internally and to the shareholders
• Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing processes, controls and checks
• Cash flow management and liquidity planning
• Management of relations with auditor, banks, credit card companies and other advisors
• In concert with the Managing Director coordinate and execute the annual budget process and periodic forecasting process

Qualifications:

• Intensive accounting experience in management role including a preference for both external audit and in-house financial management experience
• Completed business studies with a focus on finance, controlling and accounting
• Further qualifications based on this (e.g. MBA) desirable
• Relevant international experience in the field of finance & controlling as well as management experience
• "Hands on mentality" and pronounced service orientation
• Business fluent English, other languages ​​are an advantage
