The role and its responsibilities
This position is based at our offices in Arnhem, the Netherlands, from where your central task is to prepare the declaration of corporation tax of the Dutch fiscal unit and execute all related calculations and compliance activities.

All of this requires you to manage Dutch tax accounting processes internally and with external auditors. In doing so you assess the acute, latent and payable taxes in the Netherlands on the correct processing and interpretation of laws and regulations, explaining this to the Dutch tax authorities. You also analyze the effective tax burden of Dutch entities and segments, and the impact on the total effective tax burden of AkzoNobel.
Finally, you process foreign withholding tax and associated formalities such as residence permits and settlement of Dutch tax credits.
