Senior Controller

Key Responsibilities• Drive Area (Benelux & Switzerland) financial reporting, forecasting, annual target setting and planning
• Enhance the overall financial control environment
• Report monthly financials in OneStream in close cooperation with our team in the Global Service Center based in India
• Create detailed monthly financial reporting and monthly performance reporting according to internal and external reporting standards
• Analyze business and financial performance for the Area and provide management with correct, timely and relevant financial data including explanations on key variations, trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop and manage various financial control and performance dashboards
• Drive improvements of financial and area control scorecards
• Interact with the Business and Commercial Team to improve financial reporting, forecasting and foster a constructive cross-functional cooperation
• Interact with HQ and Europe Regional Finance team to help promptly roll-out modified global procedures, standards and controls within our Area
• Interact with GSC Finance team to improve financial processes and controls within the Area
• Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and analyses

Who we are looking for• Advanced knowledge of SAP/FACT and financial operating systems
• Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong analytical capability, able to see an issue from more than one point of view
• Good communication and interpersonal skills incl. ability to clearly explain financial matters to non-Finance persons
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Sense of urgency, dynamic and flexible
• Able to handle occasional pressure of high workload and tight deadlines
• Strong practical knowledge of MS Office software
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and databases
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven track record of practical experience with business/financial controlling and reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge and understanding of the Transport and Logistic industry is a pre
