The role and its responsibilities

Further, you review and verify the financial reliability and completeness of specifications (A-forms), e.g. additional statement of income information, equity consolidation, country information, etc., at a consolidated AkzoNobel level, and report final A-forms to responsible management.

At all times you remain aware of relevant developments within the department and the wider organization. You also participate in improvement projects related to the consolidation process, communicating and interacting with BU accounting functions and corporate functions such as Legal and Tax. This requires you to interact with focal points in order to receive reliable reporting as well as other relevant functions such as auditors.

You are encouraged and expected to take the initiative by asking questions and making suggestions that will improve processes. As such, this is a position for ambitious candidates eager to move on to their next role within AkzoNobel after two to three years.
