Business / Financial Controller

In this challenging position you are responsible for business reporting for several Business units and act as a business partner for the Business Unit Directors.

Main activities and responsibilities
Financial analysis & Reporting

• Coordinate, prepare and publish timely and correctly monthly BU financial statements and reports
• Prepare financial reviews
• Create monthly sales reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts Responsible for the analyses and reports (consolidated) about the results of the different entities;
• Responsible for the annual process of multi-annual planning;
• Responsible for financial planning;
• Provide financial expertise and management information to the Board of Directors;

Business Partner

• Proactively support the BU Director in financial matters in the broadest sense; (Strategy and Tactics)
• (co)monitor and take initiatives in order to optimize the quality of the management information (AO/IC) and to give solicited and unsolicited advice about it to the BU Director;
• Give advice to the BU Director regarding finance, cost control and profit optimization

Budget and Forecasting

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the Bu Director based on research and data reports

Management Accounting

• Prepare margin Calculations for Sales
• Visualize Volume, Price and mix effects.
• Define kpi’s and develop dashboard.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in an international commercial business environment
• Expertise in all different Finance and Control disciplines
• IT literate in which SAP and BO experience is a pre
• Fluent in the English Language
• Willing to travel on a regular basis
