AkzoNobel’s business area Decorative Paints adds color to people’s lives with a full range of interior and exterior decoration and protection products for the trade and consumer markets. As authorities on color we aim to provide all our customers – from professional decorators to DIY enthusiasts – with a great color experience and a fantastic finish. Our range includes paints, lacquers and varnishes, as well as products for surface preparation (pre-deco products).
Our North & West Europe (NWE) operation is currently pursuing a program to drive efficiencies across its (SAP) billing and administrative functions. Within this context, your mission in this role is to develop and lead a NWE community of process experts as we move from a country-by-country to a more aligned approach. There is a particular focus on increasing SAP knowledge and executing SAP improvement projects across O2C.

SAP Process Improvement Manager: Order to Cash
The role and its responsibilities
This role is located in both Amsterdam and Sassenheim, the Netherlands, but you will travel for approximately 40% of your time, sometimes up to three days per week.
Your core focus is to develop and lead a NWE community of process experts (user group) for O2C, improving our SAP and process knowledge as you liaise with IM to align and consolidate requirements between the countries.
Thus you support local users and process experts, train and develop local process experts, and develop and implement best practices. You also manage the Kernel Change Request process, and approve Change Requests.
A further focus is to execute SAP improvement projects for the O2C field to increase efficiency and automation. In doing so you pro-actively signal improvement opportunities and turn those into improvement projects.
