As Senior Financial Analyst with Warner Bros, you will work in a dynamic, fast growing environment. The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Director of Finance EMEA and will be supporting to the headquarters in Burbank and NYC. You will be an important sparring partner for the regional management and the VP Finance EMEA. Besides this, you will be in direct contact with the BU finance teams, treasury, tax and internal shared service teams in order to complete a diversity of management reports. Within Warner Bros, you will be challenged to develop yourself, extend your knowledge and  proactively participate in several projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting or economics, minimum of 4 years relevant experience and the right drive and ambition to make a career within Warner Bros.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for financial and management reporting and analysis including (but not limited to):

-          Preparation of financial & management reports for regional operations for regional management;

-          Preparation of business performance analysis for regional management including variance against plan;

-          Analysis of Theatrical, Home Entertainment and TV performance and preparation of quarterly reporting pack;

-          Production of cost centre reporting & monitoring of actual costs;

-          Preparation of ad hoc analysis as requested by regional management and head office;

  • Support to preparation of statutory accounts and to management reporting & assistance with the management of the external audit process;
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, P&L forecasts and cash forecasts, variance information and quarterly financial reporting packs for regional management; 
  • Assist Director of Finance with cash management, forecasting & reporting including liaison with external bankers;
  • Responsible for coordinating external requests for financial information including revenue, P&L and balance sheet information;
  • Participation in global, regional and/or local projects.

 

Education and personal skills

  • Bachelor/Master degree in finance or economics;
  • 4 years relevant working experience in Analyst and/or Accounting positions within a large company;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Able to adjust to a rapidly evolving environment;
  • A good business sense and entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Working experience inSAP and BW
  • Proficient in Excel.
